So Many Emotions

I can't even begin to describe all the feelings going on inside me.

I have always wanted to have children and a family, I just didn't think it would have happened so quickly. I guess with the chaos of this world I live in, a happy little miracle came along to slow me down and get my priorities back in check. (that means no more last minute Vegas trips for a long time)

I thought that starting this blog will help me figure out being a first time mom and that by sharing my experience, I can maybe also help some other first timers along the way.

Baby on the way..

What is probably supposed to be the most excited time of my life, has been the most stressful to date to say the least.

I recently started working again after being laid off for a month and a half (thank you fashion industry) and have been overwhelmed with our new puppy (Tank, the cutest Chihuahua mix ever).Being far away from all our family and close friends makes it hard sometimes too. (They are in New York, we are in California) My husband and I have been stressed to the max to say the least, and just when we thought we were getting ourselves back on track, fate stepped in and threw us another curve ball.

I am now one of those women who had no idea they were pregnant.

Last week, I finally went to a doctor to see why I was having such horrible cramping on and off for two weeks. It turned out I was already over 4 weeks pregnant. NO WAY, there's just no way.

When I told my husband, he was just as shocked as I was.

We both went to my new OBGYN, we needed to hear it from them. Yup, it's true, I'm approximately 6 weeks pregnant.

Now it's time to tell our parents, and wait for my next appointment at the doctors..
